Where we work
Based in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco, we work in the Amazonian and Andean territories of Peru — from lowland rainforest along the Imaza and Marañón rivers to montane forest and páramo grassland high in the Andes. These are among the most biodiverse and least studied places on Earth, and the communities living in them are their first and best guardians.

An exceptional territory
Stretching from Andean slopes to the Amazon basin, this is ancestral Awajún territory. Here, community traditions and rich rainforest ecosystems work together to build a lasting local economy.
Conservation and prosperity, together
Poverty, pressure on forests and water, and weak connections to markets limit opportunity. Native cacao, high-value local products and conservation finance offer a different path: family well-being without expanding agriculture into natural forest.
